WS Product Version Policy

WS uses the following for Product versions.

M.N.U

M = Major
A change in the major version number will be reserved for when there is a large change in the features, functionality (e.g. backward incompatible ), performance, or behavior of the product. Changes in major version number will be limited as much as possible.
N = Minor
A change in the minor version number indicates a release that has additional feature(s). Minor releases will be delivered as needed.
U = Update
A change in the update version number indicates a release that has addressed defect(s). Update releases will be delivered as needed.

WS Product End of Life (EOL) Policy

WS may initiate an End of Life (EOL) process for a product at anytime. When a product has been EOL'd, the product is no longer supported or available. A product will be automatically EOL'd when a new major version is released that is 2 Major versions newer. For example, when Version 3.0.0 is released, version 1.x is EOL'd. WS encourages all customers to use the most recent product versions. The table below specifies current product EOL dates.
