Validation Environment is designed to lower total

and accelerate product time to market for standards based
implementations.
The WBEM
Agent
Validation Environment includes the following components
and features:
- Profile Tester - The profile tester will test an agent to
check if it supports the requirements of one or more profiles.
- Profile
Definition Files – WBEM
Solutions has created their own profile definition files.
- Generic Tester - The generic tester test an agent to verify
that all CIM Elements (Qualifier Types, Classes, Instances) support the
CIM Specification. The generic test driver walks each namespace for
qualifier types, classes and instances, testing each element.
- Test Cases - (too many to list) include Qualifier
Types, Classes, Instances, associations, indications, query tests.
- Test Driver - CLI for integrating into build
environments.
- Nightly Build - Can be added to the
nightly build process
- Detailed Reports - The detailed reports are designed to
greatly reduce debugging time resulting in accelerated development
time, reducing product time to market. The detailed reports generated
from
WAVE include specification and
section references. as well pass
or fail status for mandatory and optional
specification requirements for the applicable specification.
Support
Support accounts are automatically created for each user license.
Support is provided on an annual basis and includes
quarterly product updates, bug fixes, new test, new features, etc. Each
support account
also grants licensees access to the WBEM Solutions web based help
system for
email support and FAQ area.
